Safety Procedures and Past History
At Kriebel, safety is our number one priority when drilling for natural resources and producing
the well. And we have the track record that proves it. Our wells have minimal moving parts, which greatly
reduces the risk of accidents on your property. And we have an excellent working relationship with the
Department of Environmental Protection. Safety for our personnel and landowners is number one priority for
Kriebel.
Water Protection
At Kriebel, protecting your water supply is one of our top priorities. That’s why,
although we are not required to do so by the Department of Environmental Protection, we make
every effort to test a landowner’s private water supply located within 1,000 feet of our
drilling site. During the permit process, landowners are asked for information pertaining to
the location of their water well or spring, if any water treatments are currently being used,
and for a current phone number. This information is given to an independent, certified lab.
The lab then contacts the landowner to arrange for a water sample to be taken at a time most
convenient for the landowner.
